My value proposition is that I can provide your company
with on-demand specialized support in finance and audit
projects, with the flexibility to be deployed virtually to any
location in the world and for the time strictly required by
the project. My typical assignment lasts one or two weeks
and is billed strictly on actual hours, at very competitive
rates.
From a technical standpoint, I am in a position to bring
value to your projects because of my exposure to
international business environments, language abilities (I
am fluent in English and Spanish and able to read business
documentation in French, Italian and Portuguese),
understanding of requirements and processes within
multinational corporations, and my ability to provide an
independent and non-biased point of view.

Have audited or managed operations in several countries
around the world, including the following: Argentina,
Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France,
Germany, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico,
Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
EXAMPLES OF PREVIOUS PROJECTS
- Led the implementation of SAP platform in a leading
communications agency in Mexico. Published as a success

- Supported the regional controller of a major US group in
identifying and quantifying financial exposures in their
balance sheet throughout Latin America, as well as
ensuring adequate reserves were established.
- Supported an Italian fashion designer during the product
introduction phase in Mexico.
- Supported the regional CFO of a major Swiss
pharmaceutical in identifying internal control weaknesses
across Latin America and developed action plans to address
them.
- Reviewed and improved wire transfer and cash
management procedures across seven manufacturing
plants in Europe.
- Supported the corporate audit team to ensure SOX
compliance of their local subsidiary in Mexico.
- Led quality assurance team during the SOX
implementation at a large Canadian corporation, including
performing assessment of control gaps and establishing
remediation plans.
- Designed and executed training and awareness sessions
on internal controls and fraud prevention for the European
subsidiaries of a US group.
- Advised the audit committee of a large US marketing
group on technical accounting issues.
- Conducted special review of revenue recognition practices
of a US advertising group to ensure compliance with
SAB101.
- Led audit team during a fraud investigation at the Brazil
subsidiary of a US media group.
- Reviewed internal control environment in preparation of a
client’s IPO, focusing on Latin America and Southern
Europe.
